Pro It’s a measure of Dynastar’s confidence in this ski that the company entered it in two categories—here and in All Mountain. And while the Legend earned higher marks in the latter category, testers thoroughly enjoyed its Cruiser capabilities as well. Not surprisingly, the Legend’s hard-snow grip can’t compete with narrower, racier Cruiser skis—even with sturdy vertical sidewalls from the middle back. But again, its versatility and easygoing nature serve it well. It put up high scores in Forgiveness, and testers especially loved it in long, lazy arcs at medium to high speeds. "It has some nice energy, but it remains pleasantly easy to turn," said Moscarella. "It’s a winning combo of agility and versatility." Con Lacks quickness and edge-grip on harder snow.
