Pro Male testers liked the S9. Female testers, by comparison, acted as if they'd found their soul mates. Women definitely get more for their money from Head. The men's S9 is a nice, moderately appointed boot-a smooth, high-performance blend that delivers the goods when asked. The DT 10, on the other hand, is ultra plush. The liner and lightweight shell are specifically tailored for a female fit. The cuff buckles have easy-to-close extenders (the S9 doesn't). The flex is springy but supportive. And the liner's cuff is snug but not uncomfortable, with a clever design that fits a wide range of calf shapes. "The Thang hits a bull's-eye." Sheinberg said. "Aggressive women can set the flex on hard and throw away the key. It has lots of vavoom and could be a long-time friend." Con Don't ride your tails: Rear support is not all there.
