Start off the weekend by watching some of the best lacrosse players in the US battle it out between July 1-4 at the 26th Annual Vail Lacrosse Shoot-Out.

July 2 features Bravo! at the Vail Valley music festival with a free patriotic concert by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.

Vail American Days highlights the Fourth of July festivities starting with a 10 a.m. parade. Other activities include concerts and entertainment all day and night featuring the Budweiser Hot Summer Nights Concert at 6:30 p.m. in the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, and a fireworks finale at 9:45 p.m. at Golden Peak.

Aspen's celebrations take place on the Fourth of July, featuring fun, funkiness, and Western hospitality for which the town is best known. The day starts with Boogie's Diner five-mile charity walk/run, followed by a parade, a US Air Force jet flyby, concerts, a kid's bicycle rodeo, an exhibition in the afternoon by Aspen Summer Skating School at Aspen Ice Garden, and fireworks over Aspen Mountain.

A 10 a.m. parade kicks off the Fourth of July festivities in Park City. City Park will be busy with children's games and rugby matches throughout the day, while a traditional fireworks display at dusk ends the day.
