Classic Race
The CLASSIC RACE HOT GEAR bag is a new model designed around the needs and wishes of our World Cup skiers and pro ski instructors. In addition to all Hot Gear Bags’ other functions, we created more internal space in this bag.
Classic
The CLASSIC HOT GEAR bag is our most popular model. The superior HOT GEAR drying, heating, venting and ski boot fitting systems work extremely well in the bag’s bigger compartment space. The glove drying and warming compartment is located on two internal side (hot) pockets. The sock drying and warming internal (hot) pocket is located on the bottom of the top closure. There are also two internal flat (hot) pockets along the side of the bag for thermal wear and other layers that are kept warm up to the last minute.
Single
The SINGLE HOT GEAR bag is the smallest bag in HOT Gear’s line of heated ski and snowboard boot bags. The bag’s close fit around boots provides superior drying, heating, venting ski boot fitting. The gloves and socks compact drying and heating compartment is located underneath the exterior helmet carrier and can also be accessed from inside the bag.
Silverton, CO
It may not feel like winter in the lowlands, but up at 10,400 feet (Silverton Mountain base elevation) there is good powder snow and fun skiing. Silverton Mountain opens the ski season Saturday, November 29th with all natural snow. The snow conditions are better than last year at this time as more than 3 feet of snow has fallen so far this winter.
The Silverton Mountain ski patrollers were surprised to find powder snow conditions in many locations on the mountain as they started work for the season.
Bretton Woods, NH
Mount Washington Resort literally has been turned into a winter wonderland. Bretton Woods, part of Mount Washington Resort, received 10-14 inches of natural snow on Saturday, November 22, 2008. This snowfall was not in the forecast and did not seem to occur elsewhere to such an extent. According to Chris Ellms, Mount Washington Resort’s Director of Ski Operations, “Bretton Woods often gets these isolated snow flurries --- it’s a combination of high elevation and our location next to Mount Washington.
