Copper Mountain, CO Jan. 19, 2005 - Boarding For Breast Cancer Foundation (B4BC), the leading non-profit, youth-focused breast cancer awareness group, will partner with Copper Mountain Resort and Op Girls Learn To Ride(tm) for a weekend full of activities, entertainment and educational events designed to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer. This is the first time that Copper will host the "Board-A-Thon" event, which takes place Feb. 4-6, 2005, and will be the only Rocky Mountain Region resort to host the event.

This year's "Board-A-Thon" will include a sponsor village, Op Girls Learn To Ride(tm) snowboarding clinics, a B4BC educational area and nighttime festivities including an event kick-off celebration aptly named The Pink Party. The Pink Party will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. on Feb. 4 at Copper's Grand Hall in the resort's East Village and will be a pink-themed affair set to include a raffle, live entertainment, appetizing fair and more. Admission to The Pink Party is $30 and includes two raffle tickets, two drink tickets, hors d'oeuvres and entertainment from local DJs. A 2005/06 Rocky Mountain Super Pass will be awarded to the partygoer who wears the best pink outfit, plus additional prizes including two Colorado Ski Country VIP passes and two VIP credentials for the Gravity Games held at Copper March 3-6, 2005.

Additionally, a free women's health symposium covering healthy lifestyle options and early breast cancer detection will be offered from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5 in The Storm King Lounge located in The Village at Copper. Furthermore, an online fundraising drive is being held at ActiveGiving.com (http://www.active.com/donate/b4bcCopper) to help Copper reach its giving goal of $15,000. A complete schedule of events can be viewed online at www.coppercolorado.com.

"We're excited to bring such an important organization and fundraiser to Copper," said Steve Paccangan, general manager of Copper. "We hope the Rocky Mountain region pulls together to help raise money for this cause. Also, I am looking forward to pulling out all stops and wearing the best pink outfit to the party."
