Boulder - Freeze Magazine will move its staff to Oceanside, California in January to join the actionsports culture at TransWorld Media.

Freeze publisher Mike Jaquet becomes director of sales development and director of marketing for TransWorld Media.

"We'll save about $150,000 to $200,000 by using TransWorld's in-house production facilities," Jaquet said, "and there are also savings in staffing overhead, circulation support and so on. And Freeze has been selling skiing as an actionsport, so it makes sense to ally ourselves with the other actionshports titles."

Four of the five Freeze editors will make the move, leaving a photo editor in Boulder to shoot in the Rocky Mountains.

After January 1, the new address is Freeze Magazine, 353 Airport Rd., Oceanside CA; 760-722-7777.
