Macartney Wins Inaugural DH Super Series

Snowbasin, UT, Feb. 9, 2001--American Scott Macartney (Redmond, WA) won the inaugural running of the Olympic downhill course at the Chevy Truck Super Series at Snowbasin. Second place went to Benjamin Drummond (Freedom, NH), who started21st in a field of 54 races, and third to Marco Sullivan (Tahoe City, CA) whohad lead the downhill training runs on Thursday.

The Snowbasin Super Series races can be seen on Outdoor Life Network on March 22 at 9:00 p.m. EST.

Due to wind, the second downhill race has been rescheduled to Sat., Feb. 10.
