Mt. Sunapee, New Hampshire

Perfect snow and flow.
By SKI Magazine Editors ,

It’s like a magic trick, the way Mt. Sunapee takes a boatload of guests and moves them all seamlessly through a great ski day. From the perfectly timed shuttles that make even the furthest-flung parking lot manageable to the swift lifts that access trails both wide open and classically narrow, Sunapee just flows really well. And despite the number of skiers, trails remain fresh all day thanks to Sunapee’s legendary snowmaking and grooming. While locals are nervous about the Vail Resorts takeover, they’re hoping, too, for some upgrades. Things run well, yes, but new lifts and base buildings will elevate Sunapee’s infrastructure to match that perfect snow.
