Jay Peak, Vermont, already closed for the season. Then a massive late-season winter storm rolled in—dropping 19 to 24 inches on the ski area. Naturally, they decided to re-open for one more weekend. The ski area is open Thursday through Sunday with more than 18 trails accessed by the Jet Triple and Metro Quad. Lift tickets are $39 ($29 for juniors) and—get this—they’re throwing in a free lunch in the Tower Bar with a purchase of a lift ticket. www.jaypeakresort.com
