One of the best things about Badger Pass is its beautiful location inside Yosemite National Park. Better still is the fact that the park's legions of visitors tend to disappear in the winter, allowing a select few to enjoy the beauty and majesty of the Yosemite Valley with only a handful of other folks around. As for the ski area itself, it is a small spot with about 800 feet of vertical and 10 trails, mostly geared towards the beginners and intermediates. It is a perfect place for those learning how to ski or ride, families with children or people just looking for a low-key mountain experience with amazing scenery. There are five lifts to get you around including a triple, three doubles and a surface lift as well as a terrain park to keep the freeriders entertained.
