Climbers Descend on Lander, WY

The 17th annual International Climbers Festival brought hundreds of rock-crushing climbers to Lander, Wyoming, where they attended slideshows, climbing clinics, movie showings, and competitions. Check out some videos and photos from this year’s festivities.

Jon Olsson Super Sessions

The Jon Olsson Super Sessions is a competition unlike anything we've seen—athletes, cinematographers, and photographers judged on the quality of their art and style of their skiing. Photographer Mattias Fredriksson was there to capture the event for us. Turns out, he also won the photo category.

Blake Jorgenson Wins Olympus Pro Photographer Showdown

As part of the Telus World Ski and Snowboard festival in Whistler, photographers from around the world submitted their ski, surf, mountain bike, and skate photos for inclusion in the Olympus Pro Photographer Showdown. The finalists were invited to submit a nine minute slideshow, set to music, of the best images from their life's work. These are a few images from the finalists, as well as Blake Jorgenson's winning presentation.

American Keri Herman won a silver at the Winter X Games in Aspen earlier this year, and today, she earned another silver in slopestyle, thanks to her second run, which included a 540 true tail grab.

European X Games

The European X Games finished up today in Tignes, France, with the women's ski slopestyle and halfpipe and the men's ski slopestyle. North American athletes represented on the podium with Canadian and U.S. skiers winning all three of today's events. Here are photos from the day.
