Beaver Creek, CO – (News Release) – Local and day skiers in Beaver Creek can find the fastest route to their favorite terrain when they begin their ski day at Beaver Creek Landing, the resort’s alternative entry point for the mountain. Two high-speed quads whisk guests from the Landing to the main mountain in just 16 minutes. At the end of the day, guests can enjoy apres-ski activities in the village or they can ski back to the Landing via the beginner Leav the Beav Skiway. In its second season, the Landing will be open from 8:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. daily starting Saturday, Dec. 17.
Starting Saturday, Beaver Creek lift hours of operation will extend by 30 minutes, with lifts running daily from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Arrowhead will also open Saturday with skiing on the intermediate Cresta run. Guests can refuel for lunch on the main mountain at popular Red Tail Camp. Starting Saturday, skiers and riders can enjoy 1,444 acres ofterrain-89 percent of the mountain-and 102 trails served by 15 lifts. Aspiring jibbers can ski and ride the beginner Park 101 and intermediate Zoom Room terrain parks.
