Cafe Kandahar, Whitefish

Looking for something more upscale in Whitefish than the typical pub fare? Cafe Kandahar is the place to go.

Cafe Kandahar; Whitefish, Montana
Most people don’t go to Montana for foie gras and duck confit. But if you’re in Whitefish, Cafe Kandahar is a must-hit for an upscale meal. Located in the resort village, Cafe Kandar offers local game, fresh ingredients, and a menu that changes nightly. Executive chef and owner Andy Blanton knows his stuff. He’s worked at Commander’s Palace in New Orleans—the same restaurant that once employed Paul Prudhomme and Emeril Lagasse. Blanton has also been named “Best Chef Northwest” by the James Beard Foundation, which is a pretty big deal. Cafe Kandahar is pricey, but it’s well worth it.
