Bear Valley
Dates: Weather dependent
Trails: Although there is no lift-access, Bear Valley Mountain hosts a nine-mile downhill loop, and the resort has also teamed up with Bear Valley Adventure Co. to offer shuttle service to various trailheads in the area.

Big Bear Mountain Resort
Dates: Opens June 18th : Weekends only
Trails: Cross-country trails available at base of mountain, or via the two high-speed quads of Snow Summit.
Details: Chairlift access is not permitted to riders with downhill specific bikes. Check their website for more details regarding this policy.

China Peak
Dates: Opens July 2nd: Weekends only
Trails: Downhill and single-track trail riding is available via lift service from the base of the mountain.

Kirkwood
Dates: Open July 2nd – September 4th: Weekends only
Trails: Riders can access Kirkwood’s Mountain Bike Park via Chairlifts 1 & 2. Single-track and cross-country trails are both available on the Mountain’s front side.
Details: Because of National Forest Service restrictions, the Bike Park’s dates of operation are subject to change due to weather conditions.

Mammoth Mountain
Dates: Opens June 24th
Trails: Mammoth has over 70 miles of single-track and cross-country trails. The Downhill and freeride bike park is accessible via a shuttle that runs every 20 minutes or the gondola.
Details: Mammoth has recently added seven new freeride trails to their park, which include massive features like a 50-foot wide wooden bowl structure.

Mt. Baldy
Dates: Currently open (Fri, Sat, Sun)
Trails: Access single-track and downhill trails from the #1 Chair. Scenic biking is also available on the mountain’s fire road system.
Details: Operating all day, from 7 a.m. to sunset, the mountain will also be open to bikers during summer holidays.

Northstar-at-Tahoe
Dates: Opens June 10th
Trails: Access more than 100 miles of downhill, single-track, and cross-country trails via the gondola, Zephyr and Vista Chairlifts.
Details: Bike rentals and repair services are available through the resort. Hours of operation will vary throughout summer in response to peak days.

Squaw Valley
Dates: Opens July (Fri, Sat, Sun)
Trails: Over 15 miles of dedicated downhill single-track and mountaintop cross-country trails that can be accessed from the top of the scenic Cable Car.
Details: Squaw’s renowned bike park, which recently came out of retirement, was once a stop on the World Cup Mountain Bike Tour.
