Our ride for the day of cat skiing with Keystone Adventure Tours. With nearly 1,000 acres of terrain and fresh snow to explore just outside of Keystone Resort, we put this cat to work.

At the top of Independence Bowl, the highest point on our tour, we could see lifts at Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, and Keystone. No skiing from this…

At the top of Independence Bowl, the highest point on our tour, we could see lifts at Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, and Keystone. No skiing from this point though, on account of the 40-foot cornice. Nasty.

Skiers were encouraged to find fresh snow, but stick close to the guides lines so as to leave enough untouched powder for everyone.

Conditions held up throughout the day, and there was still ample powder to be found as the clock neared 2:30.
