Targhee’s website reported 1″ in 24hrs on their daily snow report at 5am. By the time we got there at 11am, we were skiing about 8″ under the chair lift and twice that on lee aspects. Best of all, no lift lines. We were still skiing untracked pow on our last run at 4pm.
With a 24-inch storm total, and 114′-inches to date, Alta just might be the place to be. They have even more snow on the way. We’ll be there in January to celebrate their 75th Anniversary. Stay tuned for details.
With 19 inches in the past seven days, Aspen Mountain is ready to rip. Aspen Highlands opens this weekend as well. But let’s get to the important news. This January marks the 20th Anniversary of Aspen Extreme. Aspen WILL have a banner year this year. Dex wouldn’t have it any other way.
Jackson Hole is up to 142-inches for the season. The tram is open and more snow is in the forcast! What more can you ask for? Go west, young man.
