Hidden Valley Four Seasons Resort

Tucked away in the southwest corner of PA, not far from the West Virginia border you will find Hidden Valley. It sits up high in the Laurel Highlands and shares much of the wintry weather that blankets the bigger mountains to the south with abundant snow.

Hidden Valley is really two areas, each with a day lodge and parking. In between are the resort's Inn and Conference Center, along with restaurants and additional services.

The steeper terrain will be found on the North Summit, where the green circle Mile Long Trail and the intermediate Angel's Elbow share company with primarily black diamond terrain. Over on the Valley Slopes beginner and intermediate skiers and riders will find predominately green and blue trails, most of which run top-to-bottom. In all 28 trails for all abilities are served by eight lifts.

Some 200 inches of natural snowfall each season but the resort's excellent snowmaking coverage will make up for what nature doesn't drop. And with a base elevation of 2300 feet, snowmaking - and snow - starts early.
