If your passions include photography, skiing, and travelling, the Image Quest Valle Nevado camp is for you. Presented by Skiing Magazine and Lan Airlines , this photography-centered ski experience runs from August 9-16 in Valle Nevado, Chile, bringing experienced photographers, like founding instructor Grant Gunderson (who decided to get married so he won't be there this year), together with students who want to hone their shooting skills with the best of the best.

At Image Quest, you will learn from highly acclaimed instructors such as Nils Schlebusch, Tom Winter, and former Ski and Skiing photo director, Keri Bascetta. With a 3-to-1 student to teacher ratio, students will work on-mountain during the day shooting professional athletes while taking on real-world weather and light conditions, followed by après-ski seminars on the tips and tricks of the business.

The camp costs $700, not including lodging or travel. Students will be required to bring their own photo kit including digital SLR camera with interchangeable lenses, an external flash, a camera-specific backpack, a laptop with photo-editing software, extra memory cards, and a portable hard drive. Organizers also suggest students bring their own ski or snowboard equipment as well as backcountry gear.
