Most people know Scott for ski poles. Fewer know it's the world's largest goggle manufacturer. Fewer still know it's a ski brand available in Europe. Now the Ketchum, Idaho, company is bringing the Scott ski to the States, focusing on midfat and fat freeride models. The Aztec Pro ($550) is frontside-oriented, with waists of 78 and 80 mm, and the Santiago Pure ($650) is what its name implies—a dedicated powder tool. The Santiago Mission is the line's centerpiece, with a square-sidewall and laminate construction. It's available in three lengths (168, 178, 183) with widths of 86—90 mm. The perfect Sun Valley ski, we can't help noticing.
