Men's Superpipe Finals: Breck Dew Tour - Ski Mag


After sitting out most of last year's competition season due to a shoulder injury, Tom Wallisch came back strong to win the slope contest with a 92.75. 17-year-old Nick Goepper was second, and Alexis Godbout was third.

Kevin Rolland and Tom Wallisch won pipe and slope at this weekend's Dew Tour stop at Breckenridge.

"This is the first time I've felt good at the X Games," said Rolland in a French accent after his win. "Last year, I crashed on my run. This is my year."

Prelims at the 2010 Breckenridge Winter Dew Tour Stop

Today was prelim day at the Nike 6.0 Open stop of the Winter Dew Tour in Breckenridge, Colorado. Kevin Rolland is first going into tomorrow's superpipe, and Russ Henshaw is leading in the slopestyle department. Check back tomorrow for shots from the finals.

In Park City, the Canadians ruled supreme: both Mike Riddle and Rosalind Groenewoud placed first. Jen Hudak, Simon Dumont, Kevin Rolland, and Keltie Hansen also podiumed. Here are photos from the snowy event.

When New Zealander Jossi Wells clicked into his bindings at the top of the superpipe finals at the Breckenridge Dew Tour on Saturday night, he had a lot on his mind.
