The venue is in great shape—chalky, fast snow everywhere. However, there are lots of sharks buried a couple inches beneath the snow, so expect competitors to ski a bit tentatively, especially up top where there's lots of exposure. Expect the biggest airs of the day to come off the BFF (Biggest Fucking Feature) at the bottom on skiers right. This is the only cliff that really allows for skiers to tee-off as it's the only drop without exposure beneath it. Also, the light is okay right now but the weather is expected to deteriorate throughout the day. This could also play a factor; it could tone down the aggression of the competitors. However, with names like JT Holmes, Julien Lopez, and Jess McMillan competing, plan on it being quite a show, regardless of the weather.
