When Mike Douglas tells you a video is the coolest project he’s worked on, you pay attention. So I’ve been waiting for the release of this week’s episode of Salomon Freeski TV “The Freedom Chair” since I talked to him about it at Mountain Film last spring. The film, which just won Best Mountain Sports Film at the Banff Mountain Film Festival, follows Josh Dueck, who was paralyzed in a ski accident in 2004 and is now sending big backcountry cliffs in his sit-ski with zero self-doubt or self-pity. It lives up to the godfather’s hype.
