Every park and backcountry skier worth their bandwidth puts out a nearly perpetual stream of video edits, but you don’t often see self-edited footage from racers, particularly not those at a high level.

But we found one standout racing video. U.S. Ski Teamer Tommy Ford filmed himself and the rest of the team training and racing at the World Cup night slalom in Schladming, Austria, in January.

The musical transitions are a little jumpy, but the follow cam shots make you realize how intense running gates is, and it gives cool behind-the-scenes insight into what life is like on the U.S. Ski Team.
