Two Below Zero Dinner Sleigh Ride
Since 1983, Two Below Zero of Frisco, Colorado has offered a horse-drawn sleigh ride through scenic trails and around the Lake Dillon peninsula region. Operating mid-November through mid-April, each ride brings guests to a remote indoor location on the peninsula where they are served hot cocoa, dinner, and live entertainment by celebrity impersonator David Peel. The sleigh ride starts and ends at the Frisco Nordic Center, and lasts about three hours.

4 Eagle Ranch Dinner Sleigh Ride
Vail Valley, Colorado
For those staying in the Vail/Beaver Creek area, venture to nearby Wolcott to experience a dinner sleigh ride at historic 4 Eagle Ranch. The sleigh ride takes guests around 4 Eagle Ranch pulled by Belgian draft horses, and ends at the Nelson cabin for dinner, drinks, and live music. A pick-up van service can be arranged for large groups or for private dinner parties. Dinner sleigh rides at 4 Eagle Ranch typically last about 2 ½ hours, and run from late November through March.

Sun Valley Dinner Sleigh Rides
Sun Valley, Idaho
According to Sun Valley resort, Trail Creek cabin sleigh rides have been a winter-time “family tradition” for years. Guests depart from the Sun Valley Inn at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. in a horse-drawn sleigh and take a snow-covered route to the Trail Creek cabin for a family style dinner. The ride lasts ½ hour, and must be made by reservation due to popularity. Sleigh rides run mid-December through March and can be reserved on Tuesday to Saturday nights, or nightly during Christmas and President’s week.

Snake River Vintage Sleigh Rides
Jackson Hole Valley, Wyoming
For a rustic western winter experience, river guide AJ DeRosa takes guests on a sleigh ride through the Wyoming cottonwood forest and along the Snake River, for the best views of the Teton Range. In a vintage sleigh pulled by draft horses, guests are taken to a secluded teepee for dinner, drinks, appetizers, and hot chocolate. The entire experience lasts 4-5 hours.

Lone Mountain Ranch Sleigh Rides
Big Sky, MT
Known as Big Sky’s “original old-fashioned sleigh ride,” Lone Mountain Ranch sleigh rides take guests on a trail ride from Big Sky’s Lone Mountain Ranch to the North Fork cabin where guests will have dinner and experience live entertainment. The trip generally runs from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sleigh rides run mid-December through April, and reservations can be made for Tuesday-Sunday nights.

Snowed Inn Sleigh Rides
Park City, UT
Departing from Park City Resort, Snowed Inn sleigh rides take guests on a ride with views of the Park City slopes in an old-fashioned horse drawn sleigh. It is a 20-minute ride to their mountain lodge, where guests will be served dinner and watch live entertainment. Trips depart from the resort at 5:30, 6:30, and 7:30 p.m., lasting approximately two and a half hours. The sleigh rides operate December through April by reservation only.

Mountain Top Inn Sleigh Rides
Just 11 miles from Killington Mountain, Mountain Top Inn dinner sleigh rides take guests through snowy trails and meadows of Vermont, departing from the Inn. Guests will settle in for a three-course dinner at the Highlands Dining Room following the sleigh ride. If you missed the chance to book a sleigh ride over the Christmas holiday, you’re in luck. This is a special offer happening only during non-holiday periods throughout the winter. However, sleigh rides sans dinner do run regularly in winter.
