Woman Dies Snowboarding in Trees at JHMR

A snowboarder died inbounds yesterday afternoon at Jackson Hole. Here's everything we know.

A woman who was snowboarding in the trees at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort was reported dead yesterday afternoon.

Ski patrol received word of an accident and found the woman, whose name has not yet been released, below the Togwotee Pass traverse on the north side of Moran run in the trees. Patrollers did everything they could but the woman was pronounced dead 11 minutes after she arrived at St. John’s Clinic in Teton Village. Sending our deepest condolences to her friends and family. We will report more as details become available.
