It was a French domination at Sunday night’s men’s Superpipe Finals on the last day of the Winter X Games in Aspen. Kevin Rolland took top honors while his fellow countrymen Xavier Bertoni took third. Rolland successfully landed the first ever double cork 12 ever thrown in competition to easily nab first with a score of 95.
“This is the first time I’ve felt good at the X Games,” said Rolland in a French accent after his win. “Last year, I crashed on my run. This is my year.”
Kiwi Jossi Wells, who competed in big air and slopestyle earlier in the weekend, placed second in the men’s superpipe finals. For full results, go here.
