Callie Rhoades is an editorial intern at SKI Magazine for Fall 2019. Callie is studying towards a degree in journalism with a minor in TAM Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. She grew up skiing all over Northern California and Colorado. Most winter weekends growing up, she could be found skiing way too fast through the trees at the chosen ski resort for that weekend.
Depending on the season, she spends her free time hiking, skiing, reading, and exploring as much of the Colorado wilderness as she can. Growing up and living back and forth between California and Colorado, Callie’s two favorite places are Monterey Bay, Calif., and Crested Butte, Colo.
Her most memorable skiing moment was breaking away from her ski school group when she was young to explore the mountain alone and promptly getting herself stuck in a tree well.
