Claire Barber is an editorial intern for SKI Magazine. She is a Junior at Colorado College majoring in environmental studies with a minor in journalism.
Claire’s skiing days all started at age four when she tried to escape the magic carpet by catapulting herself into a snowbank. She is no longer fearful of magic carpets and has since graduated from the bunny hill. Claire spent her middle and high school years in Florida dreaming of snow and relishing every chance she got to get to the mountains and ski some trees.
Now you’ll find Claire putting in time on the skin track and escaping on trips to explore some of her favorite resorts: Taos, Crested Butte, and Banff Sunshine. If Claire isn’t skiing, studying, or writing she’s probably spending time hiking, climbing, camping, or cooking stir fry.
