Maggie McCutcheon is an editorial intern at SKI Magazine. She is currently a junior at Connecticut College studying English and Sociology.
Maggie began skiing at one and a half chasing after her two older brothers on the hill. At the age of seven, she began alpine racing competitively and followed this passion through high school at Green Mountain Valley School, a small ski academy in Vermont. Currently, as a retired racer, Maggie can be seen enjoying a less competitive career on the Conn college ski team and enjoying both eastern and western terrain.
As a New Hampshire native, Maggie’s favorite eastern resort is just across the border in VT at Sugarbush Mountain, where she skied in high school. Out west her list of favorite spots is endless, but A-Basin, Snowbird, and Park City Mountain Resort have been a special part of her ski career. When she is not on the slopes, Maggie enjoys biking, hiking, and anything outdoors!
