Megan O’Herron is a former editorial intern at SKI Magazine. She has enjoyed some big winters in the Inland Northwest as a student at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. For her, nothing beats a powder day at Schweitzer Mountain followed by a spirited Gonzaga basketball game in the evening. She studies journalism, philosophy, and public relations and also dabbles in computer science.
In addition to studying and skiing, Megan works as the Editor-in-Chief of the Gonzaga Spires yearbook, where she gets to practice her passions for creative design and dynamic storytelling. She also had the opportunity to study and write in Morocco last fall and can’t wait to get back and ski in those beautiful Atlas Mountains.
She was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado and is finally starting to get used to its sunny Decembers and snowy Mays. She is a longtime soccer player and an even longer-time skier who enjoys spending her winters on the slopes of A-Basin, Breckenridge, Crested Butte and other Rocky Mountain resorts.
