Formerly known as the Slicer, this ski crushed the Value Ski category last season with supreme authority. Compared with the big dogs, the Menace 98 snagged top marks for playfulness and quickness. With a freeride-oriented shape and turn radius, testers were smitten with the Menace 98 in the bumps, steeps, and trees, but still enjoyed laying it over on hardpack. Plus, the New Wave neon graphics are captivatingly cool.
