Testers who ski with an aggressive, forward stance loved the new Blaze 106 W, calling it maneuverable and poppy yet stable at speed. Those who don’t drive their skis so hard had a difficult time coaxing this ski’s playful personality out of her. With a multi-layer wood core and Titanal power plate, this ski isn’t the lightest in the category and does require steering. But if you’re on top of her, she’ll do it all for you with gusto.

STRENGTHS: Flotation, Stability at Speed

WEAKNESSES: Forgiveness, Playfulness
