The all-new KUFO 108 is Armada's fattest touring ski, ranging up to 138 mm at the tip. If you're looking for a trek, but also expect to be rewarded with some soft snow on the way down instead of sunbaked corn, this ski is a great option from Armada. Its Hybrid Tour Light Core is designed to keep it light despite its bigger width, and the AR Nose Rocker technology is designed to lift its tips up and over anything outside the groomers. If you're looking for something similar to the KUFO 108 but not quite so wide, take a look at its little brother, the KUFO 103. The KUFO 108 is part of Armada's Backcountry Touring series, which focuses on the constantly evolving ski touring scene. AR50 sidewalls are designed to decrease swing weight, Comp Series Bases are made of Armada's fastest base material, Laminate Matrix integrates layered fiberglass designed for an optimal flex pattern, CK Stringers (strips of Carbon and Kevlar) are designed to give the ski pop, and 1.7 impact edges, Armada's lightest yet strong edges, are designed for durability. Armada, founded in 2002, is based out of Costa Mesa, California.
