The Norwalk is Armada's more old-school powder ski, with a flatter tail than its Deepest series counterparts. This tail is also designed to be stiffer than any other powder ski from Armada except the Magic J, which features the same tail flex pattern. Its EST All Mountain Rocker has a lot to do with this traditional tail, holding zero rocker in the tail while other powder skis are totally rockered back there. This is designed for better edge hold on hard pack snow because, as we all know, not every day is a powder day. The Norwalk also has Comp Series Bases made of Armada's fastest base material. The Norwalk is part of Armada's Deepest series, which focuses on powder skis. AR50 sidewalls are designed to decrease swing weight, Hybrid Ultralight Cores are stabilized through extra damp wood cores, Laminate Matrix integrates layered fiberglass, designed for an optimal flex pattern, and 1.7 edges, Armada's lightest edges, are built in to decrease weight while maintaining durability. Armada, founded in 2002, is based out of Costa Mesa, California.
