The Gunsmoke is one of Blizzard's widest skis. With a 140 mm tip and 114 mm waist, it's designed as a tool for deep snow. Furthermore, it's designed as a tool for landing in deep snow after sending it off a big cliff thanks to the ski's Light Core Technology, featuring Isocore foam, poplar, and bamboo material to prevent it from being too clunky. The 22 meter sidecut radius is also intended for big, wide-open turns on any type of snow. The Gunsmoke is part of Blizzard's Freeride Twin series, which focuses on all mountain skis built to perform well both on the ground and in the air. Flip Core technology, in which the core itself is built with rocker, rather than forced into a rockered shape during pressing, is designed to result in a chatter-free ride. Sandwich Compound Sidewalls feature durable plastics, ABS and phenol, that are designed to keep edges safe and locked on the snow. Last but not least, Rocker Camber Rocker profile features a cambered center that is built for race-style turns and a rockered tip and tail for floating over varied conditions. If you're looking to charge down big mountains and spend as much time in the air as possible while doing so, this is one of best series Blizzard has to offer you. Blizzard, based in Mittersill, Austria, was founded in 1953. Its U.S. headquarters are in West Lebanon, N.H.
