Predictably, the second-widest ski in the category took readily to Utah’s soft snow. Though fatter, the IQon shares a similar no-nonsense laminate construction with Blizzard’s CMX Pro (AME Speed)—including the slop-free IQ interface. But Blizzard lightens the IQon, replacing a sheet of metal with fiberglass, making it noticeably more forgiving. Testers still liked its performance in long arcs best. "Utterly effortless," said Hogen. "You can’t miss an edge-set if you try."
