The Regulator is designed as a lightweight, yet hard-charging everyday ski thanks to its size and varied technology. Its everyday capability comes from a 127 mm tip and 94 mm waist, designed to help it charge through powder with ease but also rip groomers and other hardpack snow. This ski also has a slightly heavier core than Blizzard's other freeride skis, despite it being lighter overall. This means it's manufactured to stay locked on the snow and also fly through the air when you want it to. The Regulator is part of Blizzard's Freeride Twin series, which focuses on all mountain skis built to perform well both on the ground and in the air. Flip Core technology, in which the core itself is built with rocker, rather than forced into a rockered shape during pressing, is designed to result in a chatter-free ride. Sandwich Compound Sidewalls feature durable plastics, ABS and phenol, that are designed to keep edges safe and locked on the snow. Last but not least, Rocker Camber Rocker profile features a cambered center that is built for race-style turns and a rockered tip and tail for floating over varied conditions. If you're looking to charge down big mountains and spend as much time in the air as possible while doing so, this is one of the best series Blizzard has to offer you. Blizzard, based in Mittersill, Austria, was founded in 1953. Its U.S. headquarters are in West Lebanon, N.H.
