The Cham W 2.0 107 is the widest ski in the Cham W 2.0 series, with a 137 mm tip and 107 mm waist. This big tip is intended for chopping through deep snow and other conditions outside of the groomers, and the waist is designed to be skinny enough to hold its own on hardpack. At the end of the day, though, this is a ski built for the most epic days of the season when the groomers are the last place you want to be. For something similar but skinner and more practical for everyday use, check out the Cham 2.0 97 and Cham 2.0 87. The Cham W 2.0 series focuses on big-mountain skiing tools for women. Moderate tip rocker is intended to bring the tip up and off the ground for flotation in soft snow, but not as much as many other freeride skis, so it's still appropriate for groomer skiing with solid edge contact. Slight rocker in the tail enhances maneuverability at the end of the turn. Classic camber underfoot is employed for positive rebound energy and optimal edge control when the snow's not so deep. Progressive 5-Point Sidecut technology is designed to move the ski's widest point away from the tip and tail for better turn initiation and reduced hooking. The overall construction of the series is highlighted by a light paulownia wood core with no metal laminates, intended for a light, lively, forgiving performance. To the ladies who like to charge down challenging terrain and avoid the groomers as much as possible, this is one the best series Dynastar has to offer you. Dynastar, based in Chamonix, France, was founded in 1963. Its U.S. headquarters are in Park City, Utah.
