Waist Width: 67
The Elite 12 Fluid is the skinniest ski in Dynastar's Elite series, with a 119 mm tip and 67 mm waist. These dimensions are intended for optimal edge control, as they are quite similar to those of a race ski. The Elite 12 Fluid's short, 11 meter radius (at 155 cm) is also built for quick and snappy turns and classic camber from tip to tail is designed to help these turns be as smooth as possible, also similar to race ski. For something similar but a bit wider, check out the Elite 11 Fluid. The Elite series includes race-inspired, on-trail carvers with narrow waists. Natural Stance technology takes into account women's lower center of gravity and is designed to shift the ski's pressure points to accommodate, and progressive sidewalls run down the entire ski (many models only have sidecut in the underfoot area), intended to create great edge grip. If you're a lady who loves ripping turns on groomers and other hardpack snow, this is a great series for you from Dynastar. Dynastar, based in Chamonix, France, was founded in 1963. Its U.S. headquarters are in Park City, Utah.
