Pro We had to kick women’s ski expert Jeannie Thoren off the test team when she went to work designing Dynastars. Our loss is a huge gain for female skiers everywhere, judging by the Exclusive Carve, another zippy slalom ripper by Dynastar. It was Dynastar’s most successful ski in the test, smashing the competition in Short Turns and Rebound Energy. But once again, Dynastar blends all that liveliness with remarkable forgiveness. How? Good female-specific design. The Carve boasts the same features as the Exclusive 11, but with a ton of sidecut. Thoren insisted on that as a way of helping women break through to carving, but again, this ski will keep expert women happy, too. "Light, fun, easy, energetic," said Beekman. Con Minor quibbles with regard to stability at speed.
