The SLX FIS Waveflex is Elan’s FIS approved GS ski. It has two sheets of metal, a vertical sidewall, Waveflex technology for longitudinal flex and torsional rigidity, and comes with Elan’s World Cup binding plate for serious power transfer. Waveflex cores use a wave pattern (think corrugated carboard) to keep them flexible longitudinally yet stiff torsionally.
