Waist Width: 85
The Pinball is a skinnier and more park-focused ski in Elan's Twintips series, with dimensions ranging up to 117 mm at the tip, 85 mm at the waist, and 112 mm at the tail. It's designed to be wide enough for skiing powder and backcountry jumps, but mainly intended for groomers and park laps on harder snow. Jib Rocker technology lifts the tip and tail up off the ground, designed for playfulness and floatation when it needs it. For something similar but wider, check out the Sling Shot, Puzzle TBT, and Boomerang. Elan's five-model Twintips series focuses on skis intended to spend as much time in the air as they do on the ground. The ski's waists range from 82 - 120 mm, built to take on a variety of terrain both in and outside of the park. Each ski has a unique set of technology, but they all share woodcore and fiberglass integration, designed to keep them light, yet durable. Elan, based in Begunje na Gorenjskem, Slovenia, was founded in 1945. Its U.S. headquarters are in West Lebanon, N.H.
