We just wrapped up our annual ski test at Snowbird, Utah and it couldn't have been better. But it had nothing to do with testing skis on a little thing like the “greatest snow on earth” or having great testers. We take a look at what really makes testing skis in the Wasatch extraordinary.
Our expert gear testers—World Cuppers, Olympians, top instructors, retailers and SKI staffers—hit the slopes at Deer Valley, Snowbird and Stratton to put more than 200 skis and boots through the ringer...and the trees, pow, bumps, crud and corduroy. Here's what she discovered—as well as photos manipulated to give you a glimpse of what it's like to ski without your eyes. By Brigid Mander.
