The Motive 76 is a carving-focused ski that is designed to also hold its own outside of the groomers, squeezing it into the All Mountain category. Its 122 mm tip and 76 mm waist are relatively similar to a race ski, but intended to be just wide enough to plow through powder and other varied terrain when the time is right. The ski's sandwich sidewall construction also incorporates ABS plastic in an effort to give it a forgiving flex profile that lowers the level of effort needed for powerful, smooth turns. This ski is part of Fischer's Motive series, which specializes in all mountain skis intended for any terrain. All Mountain Rocker is designed to lift tips up and over powder and other varied terrain for a smooth and powerful ride. This is perhaps the most versatile series Fischer has to offer, and it might be your best bet from the brand if you're looking for one ski to last you throughout the season on a variety of terrain. Fischer, based in Ried im Innkreis, Austria, was founded in 1923. Its U.S. headquarters are in Auburn, N.H.
