The Trinity Womentrack is a slalom-style ski intended for ripping groomers. Its dimensions are very similar to a World Cup race ski (118 mm tip, 68 mm waist, 100 mm tail) and its 13 m radius (at 167 cm) is designed to make quick and snappy turns. This intention for quickness and snappiness is furthered through the ski’s Air Tec core design, which is said to be 25% lighter than before, Fischer’s attempt to make this ski more playful than a true stiff and heavy race ski. For something similar but with a longer radius and wider dimensions, check about the Pure Womentrack. This ski is part of Fischer’s Womentrack series, which specializes in women’s race-like skis that are designed to tear up groomers. On Piste Rocker is built to slightly lift the tips and tails up and off the ground to get over powder and other varied conditions, designed to make turn engagement easier. Light cores are integrated to reduce swing weight and further simplify turn engagement. Whether you’re trying to catch up with Ted Ligety, trying to win your local beer league, or just trying to go make some smooth groomer turns, this might be the best series Fischer has to offer you. Fischer, based in Ried im Innkreis, Austria, was founded in 1923. Its U.S. headquarters are in Auburn, N.H.
