The 112’s robust surface area surfs great in deep snow—no surprise. But the poplar and Paulownia wood core, four layers of carbon, and two sheets of Titanal provide resolve on hard snow. PU side- walls aid dampness and durability. Testers also appreciated snow-shed- ding top sheets—great on sticky spring days. This wasn’t the lightest ski in our corral, but also wasn’t the heaviest. It could be a quiver-of-one contender for bc and inbounds use.
