The Satire has the same sidecut as the new Sorcerer, but its core is 25 percent lighter. The core is made from a special foam stitched with Kevlar, which aims to give it the responsiveness and performance usually found in wood-core skis. The Satire employs Goode’s Rising Rocker profilea gradual full-length bend intended to make the ski buoyant, smooth-riding and loose-feeling in powder and crud. Goode builds its wider skis with progressively softer flexes for improved powder performance. A carbon-fiber torsion-box construction should give it plenty of snap.
