Testers liked a lot about this new medium class crusher. It was solid, predictable, comfortable and warm. They gave their highest marks for edge power and instant comfort. The fit was unobtrusive everywhere. Testers were enthusiastic about the lateral response and stability on edge through variable terrain and at chatter-inducing speeds. This boot was damp and dependable everywhere, they said, and surprisingly so given the high level of creature comfort found here. A few testers mentioned that the stance was aggressively edgy and suggested that they'd utilize the dual cuff adjuster to gain a flatter set-up. A couple of testers noted an aggressive fit around the outside ankle and cankle zone but thought the new Perfect Fit liner's oven molding capabilities would even out the grip there. Uniquely, The Adaptive Fit mechanism allows the boot to be "shrunken" widthwise a tiny bit with the turn of a screw. The Raptor is a fast-twitch powerhouse boot for powerful skiers with skinny feet. Tester Comments: "Race responsiveness with an easier-going flex and soft liner tongue." "Great connection from the leg to the ski. Very simple, no frills, tight-all-over fit."
