Head recently recalled 440 ski helmets across North America saying, “the helmets do not comply with the impact requirements of safety requirements for helmets, posing a risk of head injury.”
The recall involves six ski and snowboarding helmet models: Agent, Alia, Andor, Avril, Arise and Arose in sizes M/L and XL/XXL. “Production Code: Dec. 2014” is printed on a sticker inside of the helmet, which can be found under the lining above the right earpiece.
The helmets were offered in blue, black, green, white, and yellow, and were sold in 2015.
While no incidents or injuries have been reported, the company is asking consumers to immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Head USA to receive a free replacement helmet.
