Jofa Helmets 2001-02
Jofa has always prided itself on being a no-frills outfit. While other companies spend money on aerodynamic designing and elaborate ventilation systems, Jofa has remained nearly unchanged, offering a simple, affordable helmet that works. Again in next year's line is the 2300 ($59), a pricepoint model; the 2400 ($69), a fashion-conscious model that comes in a variety of colors; the 2400 Combi ($95), which includes a visor; and the 2500 World Cup ($109), which can be fitted with multiple accessories for $29 to $49 extra. Jofa is outspoken about the new ASTM standards. Says product manager John Jacobs, "There's no need to scare the retail buyer and the public into thinking that an ASTM-certified helmet is the only way to go."
